Two more big casting stories have come up at the Television Critics Association press tour. And like dutiful servants we are here to serve them up to you.
First, Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show) has been cast in the upcoming final season of FX’s biker serial Sons of Anarchy. Warner, who also appeared on Community as Shirley’s ex-husband Andre, will be playing “Sticky” a member of the all black biker gang “the Grim Bastards”. This comes after other major castigns for the shows final season, including Courtney love, and Marilyn Manson. “Sticky” will debut in the season opener on Tuesday, September 9th.
Meanwhile, Wentworth Miller (Prison Break) has joined the cast of The Flash. Miller will play Leonard Snart, otherwise known as Captain Cold, leader of the villainous entourage “The Rogues”. The Flash Executive Producer Greg Berlanti stated that the season 3 would show the origin stories of both Captain Cold and The Rogues.
In other The Flash news, the producers of the series told television critics at the TCAs that The Flash, and the show it spun off of (Arrow), will feature many cross-overs and interconnected stories. This will include, but is not limited to, a 2 hour event that takes place during the 8th episode of each series.
