Showtime has released a trailer for the upcoming 4th season of their biggest show, Homeland.
Season 4 will find Carrie (Claire Danes) emotionally stabilized as she takes on a mission overseas. Though she is (at least for now) stable, she has to cope with being separated from her newborn child as she does her job in a dangerous foreign country. “Emotionally, Carrie has stabilized,” Said Executive Producer Meredith Stiehm at the TCA press tour in Beverly Hills, “the mental illness that we’ve dealt with, she has now dealt with.” Homeland returns to Showtime on Sunday October 5th of this year.
Also shown, was a trailer for their new drama series The Affair.
The Affair follows the repercussions of an affair from 2 perspectives, that of Noah (played by the Wire‘s Dominic West) and his wife Hellen (played by The Good Wife‘s Maura Tierney), and that of Alison (Luther‘s Ruth Wilson) and her husband Cole (Fringe‘s Joshua Jackson). The Affair airs on Showtime on October 19th of this year.
