Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones have been making some of the best TV around in recent year. Unfortunately much of what they make is not available in many major territories, like the United States. The duo have made such groundbreaking work as Black Mirror, an anthology series that rivals the original Twilight Zone in providing fascinating and hyper relevant science fiction with a message, and A Touch of Cloth, a spoof of police procedurals that is so fast you can watch it multiple times and catch a different joke in each scene on each viewing. Both series are unavailable in Untied States.
Now, the 2 are creating an international production company at Endemol UK called House of Tomorrow. Why should you care? Because the production company already has shows in production for both the United Kingdom AND the United States.
I will continue to impatiently wait for a US release of Black Mirror (besides the recently purchased film adaptation of the 3rd episode with Robert Downey Jr. attached), but now with a little more hope.
