Vixen is an African American DC Comics superheroine first introduced in Action Comics #521 who can take on the abilities of any animal thanks to a special totem that she inherited. Originally from Africa her parents were murdered by poachers leaving her an orphan. After moving to America she decides to Use the powers granted to her by her totem to become a crime fighter and hero in an effort to ensure that what happened to her parents happens to no one else.
The CW has released a promo image of the series featuring Arrow and Flash alongside Vixen but it is unclear as to how big a role they’ll play in the series or if stars Stephen Amell and Grant Gustin will voice them if they appear.
