Netflix has announced a new comedy series starring Will Arnett IGN reports. Flaked will star Arnett as Chip a self appointed “guru” living in Venice California who falls for the object of his best friend’s affections. Soon enough his life becomes a tangled mess as lies stack upon half truths. The series is set to run for eight episodes. Flaked is co created and co wrote by Arnett with Mark Chappell. Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz is an executive producer.
In a statement Arnett said “We’re very excited to partner with Netflix– the home of original, original content — and the network I knew would be the ideal home for this passion project.” Arnett seems to have quite a healthy relationship with Netflix these days as he reprised his role of Gob Bluth in Arrested Development and he provides the voice of the lead character in Bojack Horseman. Flaked is set to premier on Netflix in 2016
