CBS continues it’s drama pickups ordering two drama pilots Sneaky Pete and For Justice to series commitments Deadline reports. Sneaky Pete comes from writer and executive producer duo Bryan Cranston and House creator David Shore. The drama revolves around a con man who takes on the identity of Sneaky Pete upon leaving prison in order to hide from his past. He then sets up shop at his “family’s” bail bonds business where he uses his unique skills to take down criminals far worse than himself with the help of his beautiful female “cousin” who is suspicious of him.
For Justice is based on James Patterson’s debut novel The Thomas Berryman Number which centered on a hitman paid to assassinate the first black mayor of Nashville resulting in a desperate manhunt.
