Amazon has announced that they have picked up five new pilots from their pilot season program to develop as full series for Amazon instant streaming Deadline reports. Amazon has picked up Mad Dogs, The Man in the High Castle and documentary series The New Yorker Presents as well as children’s programming Just Add Magic and The Stinky and Dirty Show. Amazon also announced that The Man in the High Castle was it’s most watched pilot since the program began. The five were among a group of pilots that were up for a series order.
Those that didn’t make the cut include Cocked, Point of Honor and Down Dog. Salem Rogers may still be in contention as a second script has been ordered. The new series will debut on Amazon Prime instant streaming sometime in 2016. In addition to the new pickups Amazon announced a second season for Mozart in the Jungle.
