Firefly alums Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk are back for a new online TV series and they need your help to make it. Called Con Man the series focuses on Wray Nerely (Tudyk) the co star of a cult Sci Fi show Spectrum which was cancelled too soon by the network. Joined by his buddy the star of Spectrum Jack Moore (Fillion) who has gone on to become an A -List movie star,
Con Man sees Wray navigate the life of a former Sci Fi star as he attends conventions, appearances at comic stores and other events and documents all the crazy things that happen to him along the way. In order to make this show Tudyk has forgone traditional funding avenues and is instead counting on donations from indiegogo to fund Con-Man in order to cut out the middle man and get the fans involved as soon as possible. As of this writing the campaign has well exceeded it’s original funding goal of $425,000 and is over 1 million dollars funded with 30 days left.
